This is an octagonal ring. It has an inscription dedicated to god. There is a second inscription asking for salvation from god. What’s extraordinary Is the scene depicted on such a small ring. We see the Virgin marry along with the 12 disciples looking towards the sky where Jesus Christ is ascending towards heaven, accompanied by cherubim and seraphim.
